Me and Phil at the summit of Bealach na Ba.We had a great day weather held out till 10 miles from the start, then the heavens opened but this never dampened our spirits. Climb done and back to the hotel for food and beer end to a perfect day.
We will have to do it again next year with more wheelers.
I recommend doing the Bealach Beag or Mor event run by Handsonevents. The beag is usually at the start of May and the Mor event is in September. 600 cyclists going up the Bealach na Ba on closed roads is an awesome experience!
ReplyDeleteSaying that, this year we had hail and snow suring the Beag event which was NOT good.
